Thousands of breast cancer survivors, volunteers, military service members, family members and walked to end breast cancer Oct. 6 at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer five-mile walk from Ford Island to Richardson Field, Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

Honolulu?s Making Strides event, its fourth annual, was one of more than 270 events across the country this year being held by the American Cancer Society. The event involved more than 7,000 community members and raised more than $215,000 to help end breast cancer by finding cures and supporting programs and services.

?Breast cancer has no boundaries, and this gathering shows the many faces that have been touched. Breast cancer affects all ages and touches the lives of everyone in some way,? said Mary Johnson, a registered nurse and breast health educator at Naval Branch Health Clinic Hawaii-Makalapa.

?I have seen first-hand the struggles that active duty members and their families endure when diagnosed with breast cancer. Military members must deal with the added stress of deployments, duty schedules, moves, children?s reaction, separation, and concern for their jobs.?

?Cancer has made me more appreciative of things, and how to enjoy life a little bit more. I can?t stress over the little things which we all tend to do because life is so crazy for all of us,? said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Vanderla Akaka, a breast cancer survivor since 2008.

?I see cancer as a blessing. Most people think cancer is bad, but for me it was a blessing because it made me realize that you have to take care of yourself. You can?t take care of everybody else.?

Funds raised through Making Strides enable the American Cancer Society to continue providing free resources and support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer who seek information and help. The American Cancer Society invests in research to find, prevent, treat and cure breast cancer and ensure access to mammograms for women who need them.

There were hundreds of American Cancer society staff members and community volunteers on hand setting up the course, lining the route, assisting the par ticipants, and handing out water and snacks to participants as they crossed the finish line.

?I went to the American Cancer Society to see what support they offer and they gave me wigs. I got everything and it made me feel better. Then I started volunteering, and now I am part of the staff here,? said Joy Agni, a breast cancer survivor of one year, and this year?s honorary guest motivational speaker.

?Cancer has not only brought me awareness and shown me how to take care of my body, but it?s helped me to appreciate the little things, just appreciate waking up and being here,? she said.

?A couple of our families? good friends, a daughter and a mom, they both were diagnosed with breast cancer less than six months apart, so I walk for them,? said Jacky Chacon, a three-and-a-half year survivor and American Cancer Society staff member.

?For me cancer was more of a rebirth. I found all of the good things that I was not taking advantage of in life.?

?Making Strides Against Breast Cancer unites us all to walk together as the most powerful force to end breast cancer,? said Jackie Young, chief staff officer, American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific, and a breast cancer survivor.

?We are so thankful for how Honolulu has pulled together to encourage everyone to change the course of breast cancer forever. Making Strides walkers and supporters can be proud that their efforts are helping 2.6 million breast cancer survivors living in the U.S. celebrate another birthday this year,? she said.

Since 1993 nearly six million walkers across the United States have raised more than $400 million dollars to help in the fight against breast cancer through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events.

Recall Is a Reminders App for All Your Media [IPhone Downloads]

Recall Is a Reminders App for All Your MediaiPhone: Keeping track of movies, books, tv shows, apps, and music that you want to check out is tough. While any to-do list can help do just that, Recall is an app built specifically for media, and includes thumbnails, ratings, and reminders for when media is released.

Recall works essentially the same as any to-do list app, with the exception that it pulls its data from iTunes and Rotten Tomatoes so that when you add something new, you also get a thumbnail and a description. It currently supports music, movies, apps, books, and tv shows (no video games, unfortunately). When you search for something, you can add it to your list, and then set a reminder. You can do this for media that's currently available, or upcoming releases.

If you're more interested in browsing for new releases, you can do that in Recall as well. Just tap the tab of the media you want, hit the Facebook-style sliding tray in the top left, and search through new releases or top charts. Since the database is limited to iTunes and Rotten Tomatoes, you won't be able to find everything out there, but you can add new media at any time. It'd be nice if Recall wasn't tied directly to the iTunes infrastructure and included ways to link to alternate sources like Amazon, but as a dedicated media reminders app it works well.

Master Resale Rights eBooks SuperMegaPack.Net: What is a ...

Private Label Articles - Get More Useful Content At Low Cost and Effort

Private label rights (PLR) are one of the hottest things in Internet marketing today. Everybody wants to know what they are and, more importantly, what benefits they can get out of them.

In essence, PLR is a kind of license you acquire for material, which allows you to change and edit existing material and call it your own. Without having to do a lot of work, you could be credited as the author of the material and not have to worry about any violations in copyright.

Not a lot of people know about the PLR articles, much less why they should pay attention to them. Give yourself the edge and find out why you should know all you can about PLR and how you can profit from them in the most efficient and effective way possible.

1. Saves time and effort.
You probably already know how much work and time it will take to write an article. On average, a single 700-word article will take about two hours to compose from scratch. If your intention is to create a website with over 50 pages, then you can see how daunting and time-consuming the task of simply writing content will be. PLR articles will save you this time and effort.

2. All credit goes to you.
You are under no obligation to credit the original author for PLR articles. As such, when you publish them on your website, no outbound links and advertisements will be there to distract your visitor / customer. All links will be focused on your brand and your affiliates.

3. Saves you money.
This point requires a different point from saving time and effort simply because of economics. Hiring writers to create content for your website averages about $15 per article. If your site were to hold even just 20 articles that you need to update regularly (say every two weeks), you'd see how the bill could add up.

But if you were to acquire PLR for a set of articles, you could save money because of the economics of scale. Articles are bought at bulk and as such it is possible to get your hands on 200 articles for only less than $30.

4. Editorial freedom.
You don't like how the article is written or the information it is presenting? PLR allows you to change the material right away without needing to ask permission from the writer.
This is also especially useful for optimizing your website for search engines since you can enrich the content with keyword phrases to improve your rankings in SERPs.

5. Create a brand for yourself.
Today, it's all about distinguishing yourself from the rest. PLR articles allow you to provide content that is both relevant and updated. By doing so you build a reputation with your target audience as an expert. And since people would much rather go with someone they trust, your chances of return visitors increases significantly.

6. Get professional results.
Many of the writers who offer articles with PLR are professionals and have access to the latest information regarding your field of interest. By acquiring the rights from them, you avail yourself of their professional results without having to retain their services regularly.

With one set of PLR articles and some creativity on your part, you can extend the life of the articles to the point where the content has more than paid for itself. So when sourcing out a supplier for PLR articles, ask for sample works to demonstrate the quality of articles you would be purchasing.

Now that you know why you should seriously consider getting PLR articles, here are some ways to get you started on profiting from them.

1. Compile a list or report.
You can consolidate a series of articles of a similar theme and package them as a report or listing of information. While you may think that anyone can do this, you'd be surprised how little of this is done.

Many people don't have the time to read or the willingness to read several articles at different times. Providing them a simplified version of the information they want will be a welcome offer for your visitors. You can either give away the report for free, sell it as your own product or use it as content on your website.

2. Use PLR content to create a series of small articles
This is especially useful when producing material for an email campaign. A series is by far, one of the more effective ways to create a following with your audience.

Give enough to allow them a feel for what you're offering and hint at giving more of the same if they will subscribe to your mailing list. In turn, your emails promote your website by inviting them to visit you on a more regular basis.

3. Produce ebooks.
It is very possible for you to take a set of PLR articles and come up with an ebook, for which you can credit yourself as the author.

Since you have created an entirely new product you could repackage this and sell this with your own resale rights. Just like you, there are people who are looking for material they can use for their own promotion needs so cater to this market as they are increasingly growing in number.

As you can see, using PLR articles are not only effective in providing truly useful content. They are also cost and labor-efficient, which means you can focus more of your time to more important matters, whether they are for business or otherwise.

Islamic militants help seize missile base in Syria

BEIRUT (AP) ? Fighters from a shadowy militant group with suspected links to al-Qaida joined Syrian rebels in seizing a government missile defense base in northern Syria on Friday, according to activists and amateur video.

It was unclear if the rebels were able to hold the base after the attack, and analysts questioned whether they would be able to make use of any of the missiles they may have spirited away.

Nevertheless, the assault underscored fears of advanced weaponry falling into the hands of extremists playing an increasingly large role in Syria's civil war.

Videos purportedly shot inside the air defense base and posted online stated that the extremist group, Jabhat al-Nusra, participated in the overnight battle near the village of al-Taaneh, five kilometers (three miles) east of the country's largest city, Aleppo. The videos show dozens of fighters inside the base near a radar tower, along with rows of large missiles, some on the backs of trucks.

A report by a correspondent with the Arabic satellite network Al-Jazeera who visited the base Friday said Jabhat al-Nusra took the lead in the attack, killing three guards and taking others prisoner before seizing the base. The report showed a number of missiles and charred buildings, as well as fighters wearing black masks.

Two Aleppo-based activists and Rami Abdul-Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, also said Jabhat al-Nusra fought in the battle with other rebel groups. They disputed the notion that the extremist group had the lead role in the attack, however.

It was impossible to independently verify the videos and conflicting reports because of restrictions on reporting in Syria.

Despite Western opposition to President Bashar Assad's regime, the U.S. and other countries have cited the presence of extremists among the rebels as a reason not to supply the Syrian insurgents with weapons. They have repeatedly cited concerns of heavy weaponry falling into wrong hands.

Rebel leaders argue that arms shortages mean they'll take aid from whoever offers it, regardless of their ideology.

The capture of the base also plays into fears about extremists acquiring Syria's chemical and biological weapons ? particularly if the Assad regime collapses and loses control of them.

Neighboring Jordan's King Abdullah II fears such weapons could go to al-Qaida or other militants, primarily the Iranian-allied Lebanese Hezbollah. The U.S. has sent about 150 troops to Jordan, largely Army special operations forces, to bolster the kingdom's military capabilities in the event Syria's civil war escalates.

Syria is believed to have one of the world's largest chemical weapons programs, and the regime has said it might use the weapons against external threats, though not against Syrians.

Western powers ? and many Syrians ? worry that Islamist extremists are playing an increasing role in Syria's civil war, which started in March 2011 as a mostly peaceful uprising against Assad.

Little is known about Jabhat al-Nusra, or the Support Front, which began claiming attacks in Syria earlier this year in postings on jihadi forums often used by al-Qaida. While neither group has officially acknowledged a link to the other, analysts say al-Nusra's tactics, rhetoric and use of al-Qaida forums point to an affiliation.

Activists on the ground say the group is known for fighting on the front lines in harsh battles and goes out of its way not to show up in activist videos.

"Most brigades want to be filmed in operations so they can get support, but al-Nusra doesn't allow any filming," Aleppo activist Mohammed Abu Omar said via Skype.

The base captured Friday is part of the large air defense infrastructure Syria has built across the country over the years, mostly for use in a possible war with archenemy Israel.

Last week, the rebels reported seizing another air defense base outside the capital, Damascus, as well as a base in the southern province of Daraa. Online videos show them torching vehicles and seizing dozens of boxes of ammunition in the Daraa base.

The storming of these bases by the poorly armed rebels is an embarrassment to the Assad regime, but analysts say the missiles are unlikely to benefit the insurgents.

Pieter Wezeman of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute identified the missiles in Friday's video as S-75 surface-to-air missiles, which he said are old and hard to move and fire.

"They are outdated and difficult to operate, just not made for use by guerrilla forces not trained in using these things," he said.

The regime, which has received much more advanced surface-to-air missiles from Russia in recent years, probably did not make defending the site a priority, he said.

It also remains unclear if the rebels held the base after storming it. Rebel forces are largely helpless against the regime's attack jets and helicopters, which bomb rebel and civilians areas daily.

One Aleppo activist said the rebels had taken all the munitions they could from the base, and he hoped they could find a way to use the missiles against Assad's air force.

"We have asked all countries to help us with anti-aircraft weapons and no one has, so hopefully these will help," said the activist, Mohammed Saeed.

In any case, it was not clear how much the rebels would be able to make use of the missiles.

"Anyone trying to use these will need to be extremely well trained both in fueling up the missiles and then tracking the target and using the fire control radar," said Jim O'Halloran, an expert in air defense systems at IHS Jane's.

Meanwhile, the fallout deepened from a Syrian passenger jet forced to land in neighboring Turkey, as Russia said the plane traveling from Moscow to Damascus was carrying radar parts that were being transported legally.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov insisted the plane was carrying a legitimate cargo of "electric equipment for radars," but he added that it was of "dual purpose," meaning it could have civilian and military applications.

"It's not forbidden by any international conventions," Lavrov said, adding that the Russian company that sent it to Syria will demand that Turkey return the cargo. He didn't name the Russian company or the cargo's recipient in Syria.

Russia has been Assad's main supporter and ally, shielding him from international sanctions over his crackdown on the uprising.

Turkey's prime minister has said the plane was carrying ammunition and military equipment for the Syrian Defense Ministry. Turkish fighter jets intercepted the Syrian Airbus A320 on Wednesday amid heightened tensions between Turkey and Syria, fueled by recent cross-border shelling from Syria that killed five Turkish civilians.

Tensions continued Friday as Turkey's military scrambled two F-16 fighter jets after a Syrian attack helicopter was seen over a Syrian border town where rebels and regime troops have been clashing for days, Turkey's Dogan news agency reported.

It said the jets were sent to the border to prevent a possible incursion into Turkey by the helicopter, which soon disappeared from view.

Turkey's Foreign Ministry and military did not immediately confirm the report.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it recorded on Thursday its highest one-day death toll for government soldiers ? 92 ? since the start of the conflict.

It said most of the deaths took place in Idlib province, where some 20 soldiers were killed in a rebel attack on a government checkpoint.

Activists say more than 32,000 people have been killed as the conflict has evolved from a peaceful uprising to a brutal battle between rebels and government troops. Hundreds of thousands of Syrians have fled the fighting to neighboring countries.

Canada star Sinclair banned 4 games by FIFA

Associated Press Sports

updated 6:11 p.m. ET Oct. 12, 2012

OTTAWA (AP) - Canadian women's soccer star Christine Sinclair received a four-game suspension from FIFA for her conduct following a dramatic semifinal loss to the United States at the London Olympics.

The findings of a FIFA disciplinary committee panel were released on Friday by the Canadian Soccer Association, which said the discipline was for "displaying unsporting behavior towards match officials." Sinclair also was fined an undisclosed amount.

The captain from Burnaby, B.C., had all three goals in Canada's 4-3 loss at Old Trafford. Canada had the lead until the Americans pulled even late in the second half and prevented a big upset by adding the winner in extra time.

"We feel like we didn't lose, we feel like it was taken from us," Sinclair said moments after the final whistle. "It's a shame in a game like that that was so important, the ref decided the result before it started."

The United States would go on to win the gold medal while Canada took the bronze. The CSA said it contacted FIFA to request the reasons for the judgment and will not comment further until they are received and reviewed.

The Canadian players were upset about a call against goalkeeper Erin McLeod that led to Abby Wambach's tying penalty kick in the 80th minute.

McLeod was whistled for handling the ball for longer than six seconds. The Americans were awarded a free kick inside the box which bounced off the arm of defender Marie-Eve Nault, resulting in the penalty shot.

21 Ways to Connect with Your Kids offers a straightforward, workable plan to create new avenues of connection between parents and their kids. This handy guide coaches moms and dads to do one simple thing each day for three weeks to connect with their kids even in the midst of busy schedules.

The Book I Almost

Didn?t WriteI argued with God for a long time before writing this book.

When I originally came up with the idea to write a book about connecting with your kids, I was on a ?Mom High.? My husband, Roger, and I had been married for five years, and we had successfully blended a family. Two of his, two of mine, my cat, our dog.

Even the challenges I?d had with my stepson, Jeremy, after Roger and I got married were a mere memory. We had learned to care for each other, hang out together, and enjoy each other. And my relationship with my stepdaughter, Amanda, was growing, and we loved being together. All our kids would come over for Sunday night dinner and would often hang out during the week. While I knew we were far from perfect parents, I was excited that Roger and I both had close relationships with our kids.

But then all that went up in smoke.

My son, Justen, was going through a tough time in his life. He grew cold and distant from me. We were fighting and arguing and going through an awful, awful time.

And I needed to write a book about how to be close to your kids.

I cried out to God. I felt betrayed by him. I had poured all this love and energy, time and prayer into my son, and he was barely speaking to me. I felt like a failure. I felt like a fraud. And on the rare occasions that Justen and I had a conversation, I would curl up in a ball and cry as soon as we were done talking. I hated where our relationship was.

I talked with my husband about not writing the book. Not out of shame or embarrassment (and trust me, I felt both of those) but simply because I felt like the principles I had practiced didn?t work. My son was distant from me, and all the praying in the world was not helping. I asked friends to pray for Justen, pray for me, and pray for what this book was supposed to be about.

I?ve written much of this book during my desert time with Justen. I had nothing to hold on to but God?s Word, especially Philippians 4:6??Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.?

So I waited and I prayed. And I prayed some more.

And now, as I finish writing this book, God has used time and the healing that only he can bring to restore Justen to a good place. It?s taken a lot of time and a lot of prayer. But when I talked with Justen?s counselor, the one thing he said that I will never forget is this: ?Justen felt safe enough with you to express his anger to you, because even with all of his anger, he never questioned your love for him.?

I?m afraid that each of my kids?and probably yours?are going to go through hard times. They are going to go through loss and disappointment and sadness, and they are not always going to behave as if all this ?connecting stuff?? will make a difference. But let me tell you, it does.

Trust the process and trust your parenting. God has given you everything you need. You are not always going to feel like connecting. Do it anyway. Your kids need you to invest in them when they are young so that when they are older, they don?t ever have to question your love for them.

Why You?re a Better Parent than You Think You Are

I can tell you one thing about yourself right off the bat: You?re a better parent than you think you are. I know that?s a bold statement (especially since we?ve never met), but if you are anything like me and my friends, someone needed to tell you that.

I remember looking at the other moms at church, the dads out in the parks pushing their kids on the swings, and just knowing they all had it way more together than I ever would. Those thoughts started exactly one day after I became a parent.

It was time for us to check out of the hospital with Justen, who at one day and nine pounds and four ounces was just about the most terrifying thing I?d ever seen in my life. I was having a small (OK, enormous) panic attack. I couldn?t believe that the authorities, whoever they were, were going to let me take him home. Didn?t they realize I?d never handled a human baby before? What kind of broken system do we have that would let me (me!) take home this not-so-tiny baby boy?

And that?s when I knew I was sunk. In my mind, no one had ever had those thoughts before. All around me were happy couples who were dying to get their babies home and do what? I really had no idea. But I felt as though everyone else had been given a secret manual, and I had missed that day of orientation.

And the feeling persisted. All the other moms acted as if they had been parenting for decades. They had their parenting methods all picked out and were parenting on purpose.

I had a sneaking suspicion that they had their kids sleeping through the night after thirty days, were breastfeeding without tears, and woke up hours before their children so the house would be clean and activities laid out?activities that were not only creative but also educational. I felt like the world?s biggest loser of a parent.

But then something miraculous happened. I started talking to other parents. I mean really talking. And guess what I found out?

I found out they were just as unconfident, strung out, and secretly ashamed as I was. They too thought their kid was the only one to ever have a meltdown in the middle of Whole Foods. They too thought they had the only child on the planet who insisted on wearing his Spiderman underwear on the outside of his pants. They also thought that everyone else cooked homemade spinach muffins for their kids every morning and did alphabet-training drills starting at age two.

If you can relate to any of this, let me give you a few words of encouragement.

God gave the right parent to the right kid. There are days when this statement couldn?t feel further from the truth. You feel ill-equipped to meet your child?s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Because, for the most part, you are. God wants you to rely on him and the people he?s surrounded you with. You are not designed to do this parenting thing alone, even if you are a single parent. There are no gold stars for parents who never ask for help.

God gave the right kid to the right parent. All those things that God needs to grow in you to draw you closer to him? He sent those in a neat little package called ?your child.? Each of my kids has taught me something about myself?often things I would choose to ignore if given the opportunity. I would have never thought that I had a patience problem, for example, until I had a patience tester named Kimberly. But there is no chance to ignore such things when they need to be bathed, fed, and loved pretty regularly. I had to confront the parts of me that needed, desperately, to be more like Jesus?and often, I needed to confront my problems with a lack of patience before Kimber woke up from her twelve-minute nap.

Prayer is key. For years, when a kid issue reared its ugly head, I would go to my friends, I would go to my mom, and I would go to my wall of ?how to raise a great kid? books to find the answer. I needed answers, and I needed them quick! But as my friend Erin MacPherson, author of The Christian Mama?s Guide to Having a Baby: Everything You Need to Know to Survive (and Love) Your Pregnancy, says when it comes to pregnancy as well as parenting, ?Go to God before Google.?

God will direct your heart as you parent. From day one, what I really needed was to know the heart of God and to let that direct me as a parent. Yes, I?m a big believer in wise council, but I am a bigger believer in not using God only when things hit the crisis stage (or the principal?s office).

Now, if you have a couple of years under your parenting belt, would you do us all a favor and tell the other mothers around you what went wrong?

? Tell us how the helpful junior higher you now are raising once threw a toy and knocked out her older brother?s tooth.

? Tell us that you faked dizziness so they wouldn?t release you from the hospital and you could stay another night.

? Tell us that your one and only prayer for the first year of your daughter?s life was, Dear God, please don?t let me screw her up.

When I was in high school, I had a youth leader named Emily Nelson. Emily had it all together. She?d married a great husband and started having great kids. Emily was the kind of person that I would spend a lot of time comparing myself to. You know the kind. You think to yourself, I bet they?re the kind of parent that grows their own organic food while teaching their kids French, as opposed to my kid who learned how to read from frequent exposure to packages of Chicken-Dino-Nuggets.

So imagine my glee when I read this essay by Emily about being a not-so-perfect mom:

As we cruised down the coast, singing along to Veggie Tales, I tossed carrots to my 3 sons who quickly gobbled them up. We arrived at the beach with our fresh-from-the-library-checked-out book about seashells and started collecting. After making sandcastles and letting them bury me neck deep, I pulled out the ice cream maker and made homemade, organic ice cream. I snapped a funny picture of them. ?This one is for the scrapbook!? I exclaimed, and they tackled me with a hug. This was a perfect day, but?it never happened.

My REAL beach day started with screaming them into the car to beat traffic, telling them to forage the van floor if they were hungry, and throwing beach toys onto the sand, while I collapsed in my beach chair devouring the latest People magazine. I didn?t even bring the camera.

Looking back I?m tortured with what I didn?t do with my kids: take them hiking, educate them in museums, have family devotions. And I moan about what I did do: harsh words, wishy-washy discipline, and over-involvement in non-family activities. I look at the creative moms, the outdoorsy moms, the homemade-everything moms, the spiritual moms and think they parented so much better than I. Yet one day, as I was recounting my lack of mothering skills to my 27-year-old, he encircled me in a hug, saying, ?Mom, you did just fine!? That boy never has to buy me another gift, as he gave me the gift of peace that maybe, just maybe, I did okay.

Every parent has struggles. Every parent has those nights when they toss a loaf of bread and some peanut butter on the table and call it dinner. But every parent also has those moments?probably more often than not?when they are a rock, an encourager, and a God-given gift to their children.

Your parenting road is going to have its share of take-the-hubcaps-off potholes. And it may be a long time before you hear the words, ?Mom/Dad, you did just fine!?

But remember 2 Corinthians 12:9 ?But he said to me, ?My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.? Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ?s power may rest on me.? God is sufficient for all your needs. Even your parenting needs.

You see? You really are a better parent than you think you are.

I really enjoyed Kathi Lipp?s other books and this one is no different, except I kept asking myself; why do parents need a book to tell them how to connect with their children?? I mean, really, shouldn?t we, if the Lord has given us these precious blessings know how to connect with them without texting, or skype or whatever techy thing comes along?? Do we really need an author and fellow mom to tell us to have dinner together, get outside or even do a project together?

That being said I know there are a lot of houses with two parents who are working and so time together and connectedness are things longed for rather than achieved.? Since I?m on the flip side and stay home with my children and home educate them the things in this book are fairly common sense and common place in our life ? of course I can?t send love notes in my child?s lunch box but I can tell them personally with a hug included every day!? I think Kathi?s book that can give even me ideas ? I like the mini quiz at the beginning of the book that can tell you if your child is a expressive, analytical, driving or amiable personality and that will relate how the activities are geared to that specific personality trait.

Also included in each chapter is how to include the teens in the activity since they are usually harder to please than their younger counter parts.? She also includes how to do things if you?re a blended family with step parents or siblings in the family or if you?re a single parent family.? I apologize if I sounded critical, that isn?t my intent, as I really liked this book and as I said I did get some ideas for things or something that I thought of was expounded on and gave me an even better idea!? So if you?re stuck not knowing how to connect with your child, maybe a personality conflict, then this book could just get you over that hump and moving forward.
